That Rivals story pretty much removes all doubt that Stanford is where Robertson wants to be. He leaves the door open to not committing if admitted, but that's based on not liking the place after a visit he now says he is taking no matter what. Who the hell has ever said "man, that Stanford campus sure is a dump, and the surrounding area, who wants to be there?"
I'm starting to feel like the odds are more likely than not that he ends up at Stanford. I've never heard of an athlete who could go anywhere else, making such a determined effort to get into a specific school - for academic reasons. Aside from Robertson's various array of talents, that in and of itself has to mean a lot to the admissions office. Refusing to take no for an answer is one the the greatest traits of successful people.
