I was at that game!  But this reference to UCLA made me curious.  In their glory years, ~ 1963-64 through 1979-80, we played 35 times...our record against them was 3-32 and their average margin of victory during that span was 22 points, while we won our 3 games by a total of 11 points... so yeah, sadly enough in that time span, they actually were routinely destroying us.
