Texas doesn't actually have 52 national titles. They have 44. Someone has been monkeying around with the Wikipedia page and has given Texas 8 extra championships. Probably counting non-NCAA championships.

Stunned. Not everything on wikipedia is accurate? Ironic that it was updated so quickly after I looked at it. Thanks for noting the correction. Amazing that the 4th place school has half as many championships as the 3rd place school.
