I think he made his point and that he is best off dropping it for now. This area is complicated and a minefield and while I have never met him, I find it hard to believe that a 20 year old is going to do a great job navigating this issue while focusing on academics and football. If he is really passionate about this issue then he needs to do what he needs to do, but I think he is more likely to make his point and improve his credibility by having another great season.
