My first reaction to that picture is slack-jawed amazement!  Beautiful!!  I have only known the course as a tree-lined, verdant paradise.  When I see that picture, I can only think about how great it would have been to play it in its original state.  That's what is now the 18th green, right?

agree with you.  it would have been great to play in its original state.  I love the "old", not quite kept state.
