One last unrelated question while I am here.  What is the delay in Stanford publishing the yield for the 2016 class.  Is admissions trying to get every last waiting list applicant committed to Stanford before announcing the yield?

It's their first ever 100% yield.  They're just building suspense... :P.  Actually, an email went out to incoming frosh referencing "1,798 students," so since there were 2,063 admits, that means a yield of 87.2%, up by 6.1% over last year.  Hahvahd announced 80%, down 1% from last year. 

BTW, I used to go on VolleyTalk as well.  Both my sons played at a high level, but you're right, the whack jobs took over.
