Agreed that we could see a true frosh at ogre - maybe Hamilton? If we end up getting Little and Sarell in the 2017 class, then it probably makes sense to burn a redshirt or two at tackle.
RT: Tucker - Dryer
RG: Caspers - Wilson
C: Burkett - Chaffin
LG: Fanaika - Maihen
LT: Bright - Hall
TE: Schultz - Taboada
QB: Chryst OR Burns
RB: CMac - Love
FB: Marx - Williams
WR: Rector - JJ A-W
WR: Irwin - Owusu
RDE: Thomas - Kuamatule
NT: Phillips - Annan
LDE: Watkins - Cotton - Jackson
ROLB: Kalambayi - Tyler
RILB: Palma - Okereke
LILB: Davis - Barton
LOLB: Alfieri - Robinson (yes, the 5 star Frosh)
LCB: Meeks - Alexander - Murphy
RCB: Holder - Buncom - Murphy
5¢: Hoffpauir - Simmons
FS: Reid - Franklin
SS: Lloyd - Edwards
Some other True Frosh beyond Robinson may play. Best guess: WR Donald Stewart and DL Michael Williams.
What's crazy is a lot of guys not on this 2-deep will play for sure.
No idea who the third DL is, but I agree that Watkins could be the guy.
I'm hoping that Barton or Okereke steps up at ILB. I think it's unlikely that Davis starts, based on the lack of chatter about him at Pac-12 media days.
At OLB, there have been positive reviews about Toohill, so he could crack the two-deep. But Robinson is that good, and he's up to 228, so it'll be hard to redshirt him.
I expect Buncom to get a lot of playing time. I wouldn't be surprised if he's at corner and Meeks at nickel quite often. Also Murphy is probably ahead of Alexander. But Akina loves to rotate his DBs heavily, so a lot of these guys will get serious playing time (maybe not Simmons and Franklin, but who knows). Also it wouldn't be shocking for a true frosh DB to play, in spite of our depth.
