I wonder... Do we call Janet Evans a former Cardinal? I mean, I know she went to Stanford and competed for Stanford. I met her as an undergrad. She was really nice. She swam for Stanford for two years, I believe, but then transferred to Texas (she did not compete for them), then to US.C (nor for them), where she graduated. So she's an SC alum. Perhaps she is a Cardinal because that is the only NCAA team for which she competed?
