It's about time.  The expectations for him were as high as they were for Kalambayi.  Kalambayi blew up.  Okereke, didn't.  Seemed resistant to Turley's program at first. (Not behaviorally, just in physical results).  Also didn't seem the instinctive, fast-twitch LB of his HS videos.  Hope that's finally changed.

That seems a little impatient for a guy who is now a football-sophomore. [He is a class behind Kalambayi]

It's true he didn't have a first year like Alfieri, who was a similarly ranked LB in the same class. But my impression was always that Okereke was more of a project. The stories were that he only started playing football his HS Junior year - and at Stanford moved to the inside.
