Swimming is of exceedingly large proportions in Australia.

Sure, they are one of the swimming nine.

I can only imagine that handball is passionately watched by some group of countries too.  Ditto for Field Hockey.  Side note: that bright blue turf LOOKS awful, though I think London had the same awful scheme. 

Note to IOC:  Diving should be in a pool that looks blue and field hockey should be played on a field that looks green.
