Thanks for posting, I hadn't seen the Summer Olympics breakout on Go Stanford - my bad :P

Thanks too for the reminder on Ferrari...for some reason I buried that thread in my mind post Garvin's defection!


In scrolling through the list, it looks like all of Stanford's medals are for team USA except for 3 (Can, Aut, and Nzl).  I'm still curious as to where the 280 count came from on the main Stanford site?  I think both you and DC are correct in that the AD has created a more conservative list here and obviously excluded the Winter games.   

Given that Stanford has the most NCAA individual titles, I'm guessing that if the AD compiled a list of all of our Olympic competitors, we may well be ahead of SC on that count as well.  Let's see if Earl and co can generate that list.
