Reading an espnW article about Class of 2017 recruit Naje Murray and found this interesting tidbit on why Stanford is not on her list:
"Among college teams, she used to cheer for Stanford, but she said Stanford's style of play is too slow for her now."

The comment itself is wildly inaccurate if you look at our UFDFG game, but I supposed it would seem all too accurate if you look at our first loss to ASU or the loss to UCLA. But the triangle is gone, so I'm not sure what she might have been talking about.

It's also interesting that DiJonai Carrington last year stated that she wanted to play for a team "that runs and guns and pushes the ball to get fast-break points. I don't want a team that says: 'That's our goal.' I want one that is successful at that style." And she ultimately chose us.
