I agree that it is in part schematic and I have regularly shared my concerns about ILB because the only guy with 100-tackle potential is Mike Palma but in order to get there he will have to improve his lateral speed. Too often last season he was unable to get to the edge before an RB turned the corner.
The other names being discussed for the 2-deep seem to be undersized and will have to rely on speed & near-perfect positioning to be in the right place to make tackles. But those guys usually don't get to triple digits.
