You are prophetic (and correct) regarding the need for a capable backup. Look at the way the Oregon offense dropped off last year in efficiency once Lockie entered games that Adams Jr. had to leave due to injury. It wasn't pretty and the Duck fans I know (whether fair or not) despise Lockie as a starting QB.Â
I am confident if Christ came in the Cardinal offense would not sputter.
