Until you know what Burns' three play options were on a play, you cannot attribute good or bad play calling to the head coach. Should he have checked off? Did he check off into the play that failed?Â
Damned if we know, but I am sure no one will remember this as Burns' best-called games. It's likely he will be very good at it, but not in his first at bat.
