I can't find the quote right now, but didn't Shaw say he initially planned to get Chryst in during the 3rd quarter, but the offense was having so much trouble that he didn't want to risk throwing a new quarterback in there? An interesting comment, because the new quarterback and his package of plays might have been capable of putting the offense back on track. Maybe the problems on offense weren't QB-related, but elsewhere, like O-line? Just idle speculation.
