I admittedly didn't look to see if UW had a fourth DL on its depth chart. I just saw three 310+ pounders and assumed in was a 3-4.Â
Interesting that none of their 2nd team DL are over 290.Â
When Stanford played Southern Cal last year, I was extremely skeptical that Scarlett, Shittu, and Thomas could hold their ground against the likes of Mama and Banner. They didn't early, but they sure did late. This punctured a whole in my belief that a defense must have 300 pounders to be effective, but it's going to take doing it one more year to remove all of my skepticism.
