I suppose that makes sense. After all, the students aren't even on campus yet, so this must've been a party in the spring, even before the furor of the case his the national conscience. I would guess that an official lacrosse party would something like a year-end celebration labelled as such. The times have changed. When I was a freshman, our RAs would use dorm funds to purchase alcohol for our dorm parties because they were the only ones in the house over 21. I understood the problem with that even then, but I felt that allowing underage students to drink in a safe environment was a good thing. Of course, that was from my eighteen-year-old perspective. If my daughter were a student in that same situation, I'm certain I'd come to a different conclusion.
