Nice analysis, but it seems to me that winning the second play was due as much to Eric Cotton putting "the left guard on skates back into the QB" as it was due to Joey Alfieri keying in on the RB. Had Cotton not won his one-on-one battle, Ertz simply keeps the ball and heads upfield. That being said, win or lose, it looks like the RB would always have more room to operate, so I am thinking that the OLB should always go towards the running back. Even on the first play, it is unlikely that the QB could have picked up 10, even if 4 and a first down was likely.
