Thanks BC, I assumed Shaw would not just let this die. He "vehemently objected" when Sam Ponder asked him about the non-call, and said "next question" when asked post game, but he'll press this issue because it involves player safety.
I don't think Shaw needs a bunch of (justifiably) unhinged Stanford fans running interference with the league.
Four years ago we received a welcome letter from Navy Sprint Football when my son made the team as a Plebe. One of the benefits listed was that it helps prepare them for combat. Take that for what it's worth.Â
NB: I asked him about concussions. He doesn't think he had any in games or practice over 8 years of playing. "Maybe one little one." I've only been concussed once, but never lost consciousness. Non-sports injury.

Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working .I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. Peter Gibbons
