The software doesn't need to be "fixed." It's doing exactly what it's supposed to.

I suspect we're a long way from finding out the kickoff time for Big Game. The possibility that we might be undefeated and No. 2 in the nation, and that the 59ers may be playing for a bowl game, will keep ABC/ESPN interested in potentially exercising its right to a game that once looked like a dog. That, in turn, will keep the kickoff time uncertain.

Since the Oregon game is the week before, it is likely that ABC will elect to use one of its limited 6 day announcement slots.  Electing a time slot on November 13th based on the results of the Nov. 12th showdown.

UNLESS Stanford actually loses to SC or OSU, then the Nov 12th game won't have BCS title game implications.  So, I certainly hope that the game is not announced early as that would imply this BCS dream run has already ended.
