The thing is, what could the coaches do? Basically nothing they tried was working because the OL couldn't block worth a damn. Sure, maybe some of those NFL-style short pass patterns with one pre-snap read and the ball is out in <2 seconds, but I'm not sure Burns or Chryst could actually execute that, even if we had it installed. But short of that there's nothing you can do when the OL doesn't give you time.

The only plus side of this game is that the next few are against teams with a lot less to play for than UW. If we can regroup (and I think we can) then most of this season's goals are still achievable (in theory, anyway...).
