Down goes...
#3 Louisville (barely)
#7 Stanford (threw in towel)
#8 Wisconsin (on points, but not that close really)
#12 Florida State (TKO)
#17 Michigan State (on points, barely)
#18 Utah (KO in final round, while winning on most score cards)
#19 San Diego State (KO)
#21 TCU (On points, after big comeback)
#22 Texas (Retired)
#25 Georgia (KO at final round bell)
Baylor lucked out to avoid losing.
On top of that, previously undefeated ASU, went down.
Â
All told, 10 of the Top 25 teams took losses. After another week of observation, My Top 10:
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. Louisville
5. Michigan
6. Washington
7. Houston
8. Texas A&M
9. Tennessee
10. Miami
My guess is Stanford is about #15/16. Sooo many teams from 12-25 lost, that it's hard to imagine Stanford falling as far as a team might ordinarily fall after getting thrashed.
