The miss here is Goff, who like every Kal grad alum wanted to go to Stanford. Then again, he never impressed me (only saw him during Big Game), and smelled like the product of the system. He did go #1 overall in the draft, but he is still sitting on the bench which is an improvement from wearing street clothes on the sidelines at the start of his NFL career.
Tavita Shawgren's bigger mistake is not taking a quarterback in 2015.

Both Goff's parents were Cal grads and he went to their games from the time he was a toddler. Not thinking that he was the typical weenie that dreamed of going to Stanford.
