McCaffrey ran great against UCLA, breaking tons of tackles and dragging guys for extra yards. If he was injured, it wasn't until UW at minimum, and more likely against WSU.Â
It might be a testament to how bad the OL has played the last two weeks that fans are concluding McCaffrey has to be injured to be such a non-factor. Based on what I saw, he had absolutely nowhere to run the last two weeks, and he was doubled as a receiver too. Even when the front side was blocked, the backside got whipped so he could be brought down from behind. Never seen an OL get more throughly dominated in games than the last two weeks Stanford's OL was clowned.
Someone needs to step up and get the unit to play with more intensity at minimum. A lot less intellectual, and a lot more brutality is needed.
