Well, that is partly because we have been bad, partly because we have played the Sagarin ranked hardest schedule in the country.

2) How the hell did we manage to beat 3 of the top 5 teams by this metric, yet got blown out by #8? This team is confusing.

Largely because we played very poorly vs WSU, probably the worst performance of the year.

There were also a few things stacked against us: it was a bad game to have your starting CBs out and the best thing WSU does on defense is stop the run.
