If someone convinces Texas Tech  to ditch the Big 12, I'm sure Larry Scott would be very tempted to pitch expansion to 14 as a "magic bullet" to solve the Pac network's distribution problem (which is really a revenue gap problem when you look at the Pac's TV deals compared to the SEC and Big 10).
