I think there's a strong case for an overhaul in the offensive coaching staff. When Shaw was hired, he spoke of the peaks and valleys of Stanford football -- and said his job was to avoid the valleys. Mission accomplished on defense and special teams (well, post-Brian Polian.) On offense, however, we've seen that that's not the case. He needs to figure out why, and fix it.
I think that would be reasonable, but I also wouldn't be particularly miffed if we stand pat. The fact that everything is going wrong at once could mean that there are weak links in the staff, or it could just be bad luck! We've been really injured, as you've taken to pointing out, and we also seem to have had some bad luck with recruits not panning on. Combining those two and even with perfect coaching you're going to see problems.
