Thanks, WIM.  There does appear to be at least SOME correlation between star ratings and potential for NFL success.  An imperfect process, to be sure, but clearly has value as guidance.

N.D. aside, the rest of the teams are teams that don't recruit great (by the rankings' estimation) and yet have overachieved of late. Perhaps it's hard to outrun them for a long time.
