Wins over kal and Rice won't elevate Stanford back into the polls, I don't think, but there could be a case made. At this point, I don't care about the polls--I care about the development of the offense for next year and some bowl respectability.
I'm ambivalent about CMac declaring. It's entirely up to him--more tape could help, but he's got an awful lot of highlights already.
Offense didn't make dumb mistakes--other than the delay of game (2x if you don't count Shaw saving Chryst's bacon early on iirc) and a couple of holding/false starts. The offense won the turnover battle, which is crucial. Chryst looked better, yes. And next year I hope the OL is more established coming into the season. The receivers should be good--the pieces are all there (almost like they were this season). The future is bright if Chryst keeps making meaningful improvements.
