Agreed.  We won't be the standard-bearers for the conference this year, so the best we can hope for is improved overall perception by winning two of the NY6 games. 

That's what my head says to do.  My heart is still bitter that UW looks primed to go to the playoff with a relatively easy schedule when in our prime recent years, we had to face an absolute gauntlet to get to the Rose/Orange/Fiesta.  I'm not saying they don't deserve it, and closing the season with wins over Wazzu and CU would be a solid resume boost.  I'm just saying that I wish Oregon had been a dumpster fire in 2010, 2011, or last year.  Getting to the playoff the first year you're good again just isn't fair!  ;)
