Here's a thought - what about 3 Pac-12 teams to New Year's Six Bowls (UW, CU, U$C)?
Right now a lot of projections have 4 Big Ten teams, which is ultimately unlikely to happen, and that opens up 1 slot.
3/4 Big Ten, 2 SEC, 2 ACC, 1 Big 12, 1 Group of Five and 3/2 Pac 12 teams for the 12 slots.
Big Ten - Ohio St, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn St (3 of 4; loser of Wisconsin-Penn St misses out?)
SEC - Alabama, Florida, Auburn (2 of 3?)
ACC - Clemson, Florida St, Louisville (2 of 3?)
Big 12 - Oklahoma, Oklahoma St (only Oklahoma-Oklahoma St winner?)
Group of Five - Western Michigan
Pac 12 - UW, U$C, CU (if only 2 of 3 are selected, what team from above would be the 12th?)
So... Stanford to the Alamo? :)
