Which means we'll get a really bad ACC team...CFP will take Clemson, then the Citrus and Russell Athletic bowls will pick the next two. Then it's a four-way collaboration between the Music City, Belk, Sun, and Pinstripe bowls for the so-called "Tier #1" bowls of the ACC. (As if the NY6 and CFP weren't the top tier.) What puzzles me is the lack of integration between the Citrus Bowl and the NY6 on this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bids_to_co...bowl_games
If Stanford gets an ACC team like Pitt (who beat Penn St.)...well, I guess Stanford needs to show up big time and earn some conference respect. We need to prove that we also deserve the current U$C reputation as the NY6-caliber team that nobody wants to face.
