El Paso is kind of meh, but the bowl puts together nice events for the players and families. It also makes fans feel more special than other of the minor bowls do. They have signs in the airport welcoming fans from the two schools, for examples. If I went, I'd probably end up taking a trip to Carlsbad Caverns, as well.
