MDKern, really good points.  One question: how good is LSU's offensive line?  Are they, like Stanford, also dependent on imposing their will on other teams to establish the running game?  I don't think it's fair to gauge their ability based on their performance against an amazing Alabama front 7.  If so, would you say Stanford's is better?

As far as Stanford's defense, I can't help but imagine how much better we'd be with Skov (sigh...).
