The Pac-12 is having a really bad showing in the exhibition season.  But just like in the NFL, the exhibition season doesn't matter.  Only, in college football it does for some reason. 

And in college football, it's even dumber to count exhibition results, because not only is it an exhibition for all but four teams, these games go a long way to determining how teams are perceived going into the next season, despite the fact they lose about 20% of their roster on average each year.

I dunno. I thought last years Rose Bowl blowout victory, which propelled us to be ranked as the #3 team in the nation, mattered.

I suppose things matter, though, when people decide they do.
