I remember when I was a kid in Wisconsin it always seemed that the Big 10 would always win the Rose Bowl, unless Wisconsin was playing in it. Then once I got to Stanford in 1965, the Pac 8/10 almost always won the Rose Bowl, no matter who was playing in it.

Since 1970 the Pac-12 has more than double the number of head-to-head wins against the Big-10 than the Big-10 has.
