Whether true frosh QBs don't play because of a lack of mastery of the playbook (likely) or for other reasons, given these developments it would be a fireable offense if Shaw or the QB coach don't have the backups ready to play next fall.

Maybe Burns was as "ready to play" as possible for the Sun Bowl, but it didn't look good.
