I agree that it's too early to say that. After a tough first two starts, he played better, starting hitting a few nice deep balls, finished with a 10/2 TD/INT ratio, and the team won every game that he started. I understand the caveats about the competition level. Still, Kevin Hogan was also a bit uneven in his first set of starts, but his teams won a lot, so it's easier (in my mind) to forget his rocky games, in retrospect. If Chryst comes back and gets to start, I hope he does well. And having other great QBs on the roster will only help.
