The DA's priorities are clearly $ > attendance. Don't think that's going to change with griping or stories in the Merc (not clear that the guy who has given up actually understood he might be able to get equivalent seats on the other side).
Given Wilner's recent story in the Merc on the revenue gap between Pac-12 and the SEC/Big 10, I can't say that I blame the DA, even though I don't like it.
