So, what is all this karma/voting stuff?  I was wondering about those little gold squares and the "reputation" rating?  Wassup with that?  I sure don't see anything I can click on other than to view a profile and send a PM.

The gold squares indicates how many posts a user has made on the board.  You can also look up this stat in the members link (View the Memberlist) at the top and click on Posts to sort by that column.

I think the karma system is very first-order and based on people's emotional reaction to posts.  I also tend to think that negative posts generate a lot more downvotes than positive posts generate upvotes.  A ranking system is only as good as the people who use (or abuse) it.
