Every four to five years, the entire roster of the softball team will be completely different. Given a commitment of resources and varsity status, I think Muir can make a good pitch as to why a good coach should consider taking Stanford's money and trying their hand at rebuilding the program. The university ensures some prestige, the program history commands attention, and what coach worth their salt wouldn't think that they would be good enough to take the program back to glory?
