Tangent: There's been a kerfluffle in the rowing world around the overreporting of women's rowing numbers on the roster that seems to have been heavily fudged in order to help comply with Title IX.

Apparently it's not an unheard of practice...I would hope Stanford would never engage in this.  UW's women's rowing head coach is in her first year there...previously employed by Stanford for nearly a decade.
