a sad long thread... just my 2 cents here:
1. Agree with Mick and Bobk... p-poor management process by the AD... the AAD person in between Muir & Rittman/team utterly failed in his/her oversight job
2 Muir seriously bungled the process in how he handled the split/parent faction dispute... to fire Rittman without previous warning due lack of AAD monitoring both stupid and unconscionable
3. His hire of Hanson, given record to date, a big mistake. Maybe he had no other recourse because the word got around how he screwed Rittman and no one good would take it. Or maybe he thought Ivy League head coach better than an experienced assistant from a major/elite program. His Brown bias showing? Dunno.
Agree if Hanson can 't get to at least 8 or 9 wins or more out of 24 total in-conference games this year, maybe she should be let go and Muir start over.
This Softball fiasco his absolute lowest level of performance. He's done well elsewhere, but in this disaster.
