Although I realize you are not serious in this request, it does actually go right to the point I was trying to make. Running plays (or football plays in general) are not random variables. There also are not so many of them that you can meaningfully treat them as random. We try do do so with yards per carry and the like because we have no other tools besides the "eye test", which is unsatisfactory as it is a subjective personal judgement. If football were statistical, you could hope to do a "Monte Carlo simulation" and we would know with a given level of confidence what would happen next year. Fortunately, it isn't statistical, and we can have these discussions ;DÂ
