Great news! But a terrific compliment for her to get heavy interest from them.

Yes indeed.  I have to believe that she turned them down rather than the other way around.  Still, after 10 years without doing interviews, she was open to listening to their sales pitches, so she was curious at least. 

Thank goodness we will keep her.  I think having a superb, young, thoroughly Stanford-oriented heir-apparent on our staff should go a long way to soothing any worries recruits might have about Tara retirement rumors.
