I think that the last few games two things have happened, both of which have already been mentioned on this thread:
1. We have faced better defenses
2. Luck has lost a couple of his key targets (Owusu and Ertz), and even had parts of games without a third (Toilolo, both last night and in the Oregon State game).Â
I'm not trying to make excuses for Luck, but we were not all talking about his hesitation and regression before the USC game when the 3-TE offense and the running game was humming, and Luck was the talk of college football by calling a lot of his own plays from the line of scrimmage.
