Did anyone notice who came in to pitch in relief on Saturday for the Huskies?

This team really could have used Madi Schreyer these past two years. Or Carley Hoover and Kelly Barnhill for that matter. We had a national championship caliber squad lined up for these past three years under Coach Rittman had the situation not played out the way that it did.

Regardless, it is just really sad to see this team (and the previous two for that matter) have to deal with the fallout. The question I would ask Bernard, as this season draws to a close, is how many more senior classes have to graduate and leave the Farm, without ever coming close to achieving their aspired team goals in softball, for your coach to finally be able to institute her "culture", "process", and to quote her most recent tweet, "daily habits". Or is a single road victory in 3 years against a Top-10 team evidence of the “progress” being made in instituting that “culture”?
