The afternoon scores so far are as high or higher than the morning scores.  And remember that the afternoon teams are the 15 higher seeded teams.  Between Stanford, Alabama and Florida (the top 3 seeded teams), there have been a total of 0 birdies so far.  Conditions must be brutal.

The average score for the morning teams was 81.23.  We'll see if that goes up or down when the afternoon teams complete their rounds.
