I'm also certain the weather really affected the first wave(s) of teams...unlucky, but it is an outdoor sport.  Tomorrow--thunderstorms!  And the high will be 74 degF compared to 50 degF today.  Time for the tough to get going.

Speaking of which, Stanford seems to be gaining momentum vs. ASU!  (Stanford is one stroke better through five more holes now.)

A full 18 holes on that course in cold, wet and windy weather must be tough. 

Northwestern, Kent State and Miami are all together, and and all 3 are likely to finish in the top 5 for the day.  Lucky group, favorable weather IMHO.  I just don't think Miami would have held up in the cold and stormy morning.
